International Kiteboarding Association moves to Switzerland

The canton of Vaud is welcoming another international sporting body, the International Kiteboarding Association (IKA), to the region. IKA recently decided to relocate to Montreux, Switzerland, citing the excellent conditions for international associations in the country.

In addition, Switzerland offers a wealth of sport expertise and a large number of key stakeholders are present in the country. Vaud serves as the base for the headquarters of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), based in the Olympic Capital of Lausanne, and over 50 international sports federations and related organisations.  A considerable number of academic institutions, corporations, associations, Fortune 500 companies and individuals now thrive in the area, many with a shared connection to, or interest in, sport.

About the International Kiteboarding Association (IKA)
