Start-up Alogo Analysis among top finalists in the 2017 Mass Challenge Switzerland

Alogo Analysis, a provider for statistical data for equestrian sports, features among the “Silver Winners” of the 2017 Mass Challenge Switzerland. From an overall of 75 start-ups from different countries, the top finalists have been rewarded for their high-impact and high potential, as well as their progression through a dedicated four-month programme. Mass Challenge is an initiative implemented in different countries. Each year, the organisers hand out over $2M globally in equity-free cash prizes to start-ups with bright ideas. As a Silver Winner, Alogo Analysis will receive in-kind support that lets them stay and work free-of-charge at UniverCité in Renens until the next MassChallenge Switzerland edition.

Alogo Analysis, based in Apples (Vaud), is a start-up which provides statistical data for equestrian sports, specifically show-jumping. The company’s goal is to modernise the discipline by introducing innovative solutions to quantify the athletes’ performance. Therefore Alogo Analysis develops and provides a range of products providing novel performance statistics for show-jumping training and high-level international competitions, ultimately to improve understanding, enhance spectator experience and increase fan engagement.

David Deillon, CEO of Alogo Analysis, said on the occasion of last week’s ceremony: “This distinction is not only important for Alogo, but also for our sport. To reach such a level in the competition after having been assessed by four different jury panels composed of experts of several sectors is very gratifying. A big thank you to the whole Mass Challenge Switzerland team for organising this wonderful event and for these four months of fast learning! A very big thank you to all our mentors who followed and supported us.”

Alogo Analysis has also been supported by Innovaud and Vaud’s Office for Economic Affairs (SPECo) which provides direct financial incentives for specific business projects to support the creation and establishment of enterprises, as well as the development of Vaud-based small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and start-ups looking to innovate or expand.
