Micro Wi-Fi Electroencephalograph

    Development of a micro and wireless ECG

    The μ EEG developed at the IAI is a complete medical grade, wireless EEG machine in a pills-box size. Indeed, a lot of high tech has been squeezed in a volume of a few cubic centimetres. 

    Featuring a fully functional Wi-Fi connection capable of sending secure, real time, 64 channels EEG tracings over the web with a bandwidth extending to 70 Hz, the μEEG keeps intrinsic noise to an outstanding low to 0.6  μV RMS. The μEEG has been designed with the clinical as well as the research needs in mind. Multiple triggering and stimulation capabilities are built-in, including video. Modular architecture allows for even more miniaturisation when fewer channels are required. Wi-Fi connection can operate stand alone when no wireless infrastructure is present or it can post EEG tracings anywhere on the web. Electrode impedance quality check is also provided and operates in real-time. 

    Open bus structure allows for endless extensions: Bluetooth, real time radio triggering, smartcard recording, etc.
