Development of a tool to measure interaction between the edge of the ski and the snow.

COMATEC conducted a series of projects about the interaction between the edges of the skis and the snow. The goal is to study the dynamical behavior of the ski and the shock absorbtion proper to she ski's structure. 

A tool was designed to measure the interaction between the edge of the skis and the snow which allow to optimize the skis behaviour. 

COMATEC used pre-existing sensors to measure the efforts and the instrumentation to evaluate how the pressure is distributed under the ski from the edge on.
