Shaping the Future of Play: 20 Startups in the Sport Innovation Challenge Semi-Final

Another game-changing challenge is underway—this time, in partnership with Anthropy Partners, and focused on one of the most vital questions in sport: what will the future of play look like?

The Future of Play Challenge is tackling just that—bringing together bold, youth-focused solutions that make sport more engaging, inclusive, and accessible. From safe equipment and gamified fitness to community-driven platforms and sensor-enhanced gear, these innovations are designed to inspire the next generation to move, belong, and thrive through sport.

Now, the top 20 semi-finalists are getting ready to pitch for a place on the finals stage at THE SPOT 2025 on 13 May in Lausanne.
