Spotlight Workshop: Connecting Innovation with the Needs of the Sports Ecosystem

ThinkSport will host a dedicated Spotlight Workshop on Thursday 9 July at Maison du Sport International (MSI) in Lausanne, bringing together international federations, investors and industry partners to engage directly with emerging innovation in sport.

At the centre of the session are 10 start-ups from the Tech4Sport Accelerator 2026, selected as top performers from more than 100 international applicants to the ThinkSport Global Sport Innovation Challenges. These companies will present their solutions and capabilities, offering insight into the latest developments across the sports technology landscape.

The Spotlight Workshop is designed as a working session to better understand the needs of the sports ecosystem, creating a space where organisations can share challenges, priorities and areas for development. Through structured interaction, the aim is to identify opportunities to prototype and test solutions in collaboration with start-ups.

The programme features start-up pitches, a networking break and a speed networking session enabling direct, targeted exchanges between stakeholders and founders. The afternoon concludes with extended networking to continue discussions and build meaningful connections.

As part of ThinkSport’s broader innovation activities, the Spotlight Workshop plays a key role in bridging the gap between industry needs and emerging solutions, supporting collaboration, experimentation and practical innovation in sport.
